Super Eagles Star Asks Fans For Prayers As He Shares His Sad Story

Forgotten Super Eagles star, John Ogu has revealed he is currently going through a rough patch, and he’s asking fans for their prayers.

Ogu, 32, has been without a club for over a year after leaving Saudi Arabian club, Al-Adalah last January. It left many of his fans wondering if he is done with the game.

However, the former Hapoel Beer Sheva star has now come to shut down the reports, saying he’s still trying to find a new club.

Ogu revealed he has gone through many difficult moments during his career, but he is still hungry to succeed as a footballer.

The Nigerian international took to his Twitter account to share the struggles he has gone through in his career, and why he is confident that with fans prayers, God will see him through his current challenge.

Ogu has been training in Lagos to stay fit as he hopes to find a new club soon. The 32-year-old has 24 caps for Nigeria but has not played for the Super Eagles since the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations.
