The Red Devils already have former Super Eagles star Odion Ighalo in their ranks, but they could make a move for another of his compatriot

Manchester United are one of the several Premier League clubs interested in one of Nigeria’s brightest prospects, Samuel Chukwueze.

According to 90min per the Sun, Chukwueze is courting interest from a host of English clubs, which include United, Leicester, Everton and Arsenal.

The Nigerian international has been tipped for a big career and was even linked with a move to Liverpool last January.

Chukwueze’s profile has been on the rise since he made his debut for Villarreal’s first team in the 2018/2019 season.

However, any Premier League club interested in signing him will have to pay his release clause of 100m euros after he signed a new deal last year.

The former Golden Eaglets star is one of La Liga’s finest talents and has over 80 appearances for the Yellow Submarines. He was among ten nominees for the 2019 Kopa Trophy award, coming in at ninth place in the overall standings.

This season, he has made eight appearances for Villarreal in the Spanish top-flight, and he opened his account in the win over Real Valladolid on Monday.
