Joe Aribo Reacts After Scoring His First Goal Of The Season

The Super Eagles star was on target for the first time this season in Rangers victory over St. Johnstone on Wednesday night

Joe Aribo has expressed his delight at scoring his first goal of the new Scottish Premiership season. Aribo got off the mark this season when he headed home a cross from James Tavernier.

Goals from Borna Barisic and Ryan Kent had put the Gers two goals ahead before Aribo added a third and his first of the season.

Reacting to the goal, the former Charlton man took to his Twitter encounter to show his happiness at not only the goals but also Rangers win.

“Back to back wins, happy to get off the mark for the season,” Aribo said on his Twitter encounter.

The 23-year-old had scored twice during pre-season but fired blanks in Rangers first two games of the new Scottish top-flight campaign.

The win over St Johnstone was Rangers third in as many matches in the embryonic season. The Gers next clash is an away trip to Livingston.
