Revealed: What Osimhen Said After Napoli Confirmed His Signature

The long-drawn transfer saga is finally over as Napoli confirmed the signing of Super Eagles star, Victor Osimhen from French club, Lille.

The Italian club have been in discussion with the Nigerian international, but they’ve been unable to get the deal over the line.

However, after weeks of talks and negotiations, the Gli Azzurri have finally confirmed the signing of the former Royal Charleroi.

A statement on the club’s website read: SSC Napoli are delighted to announce the signing of Victor Osimhen from Lille on a permanent transfer.

Following the confirmation of his transfer, Osimhen also took to his Twitter to confirm the move. The 21-year-old referenced a song by Popular fuji artiste, Pasuma Wonder to announce the deal.

He said: “Napoli like Lagos” on his Twitter account.

Osimhen played the Champions League with Lille last season, but he won’t get to play next season as Napoli finished outside the top four places in Italy.

Nonetheless, the 21-year-old will be hoping to help I Partenopei challenge for the Serie A next season.
