Osimhen Finally Speaks On Potential Napoli Move

The Super Eagles star’s future has been a subject of debate all summer, and it remains to be seen if he’ll be moving to Italy

Lille hotshot, Victor Osimhen, has appeared to take a dig at Napoli who are hoping to bring him to the Italian top-flight. Osimhen is one of the most in-demand strikers in the world following an impressive debut season in  France.

The 21-year-old joined Lille from Royal Charleroi for 12m euros last summer, and he has more than justified the fee after scoring 18 times in 38 games for Les Dogues.  With his value now five times more than what they paid for him, Lille are opened to selling him for big money.

Napoli are the only club that have shown genuine interest in his services, and he was in Naples last week to hold talks with the club’s chiefs.

But despite discussing a potential move, nothing has been agreed yet with reports claiming the Nigerian is not too keen on a move to Italy.

Although the reports are unconfirmed, Osimhen has finally spoken on the issue by posting a cryptic message on his Twitter page.

The former Wolfsburg star appeared not to be impressed with Napoli’s ultimatum demanding him to sign in the next ten days.

Nonetheless, despite the uncertainty surrounding his future, Osimhen is currently training with Lille ahead of the new Ligue 1 season.
