Gatusso’s Incredible Gesture To Ensure Napoli Sign Osimhen

The Nigeria international is close to joining the Italian side for big money, but that would not have been possible if not for the former AC Milan midfielder

Napoli manager, Genaro Gattuso is giving up a part of his wages for the club to sign Victor Osimhen from Ligue 1 side, Lille.

With Osimhen expected to cost the Gli Azzurri a fee in the region of 75m-80m euros, the club’s chiefs will need to raise money to fund the transfer.

Napoli are the only club that have shown genuine interest in the Super Eagles star, and discussions have already taken place between the two parties.

And according to the respected journalist, Zach Lowy, Gattuso is ready to give up a portion of his wages for the club to sign the Super Eagles star.

Osimhen is a man in high demand following brilliant season which saw him score 18 times in 35 appearances for Lille.

The 21-year-old only joined Les Dogues from Royal Charleroi for 12m euros last summer, but his value is now worth more than five times the price Lille paid for him.

Although he has only spent just one season at the club, Lille expect him to leave this summer, but for big money.
