There may be no permanent offer to stay beyond the summer in Italy for the on-loan Chelsea man as the San Siro outfit have bulked at the Blues’ asking price
Inter Milan have no plans to pay the €12 million Chelsea demanded to sign Nigerian International Victor Moses permanently, according to a report from Italian news outlet CalcioMercato.com.
The former Nigeria international moved to Internazionale on a six-month loan deal during the January transfer window after cutting short his temporary spell at Fenerbahce.
Part of the deal that took the versatile wing-back to Milan provided Inter with the option to buy at €12 million in the summer.
The 29-year-old winger has since played in seven matches for the Nerazzurri, including the Europa League, Serie A, and the Coppa Italia. He also managed an assist in the 4-2 derby win over eternal foes AC Milan in February.
According to the report, Inter would gladly hold on to Moses beyond the summer, but only if they are to receive a discount from Chelsea.
If Inter do not, however, sign Moses permanently, they will look to add another player to compete with Antonio Candreva for the right-wing back slot.
