Betting Tips: Weekend Games That Will Double Your Money

Following a midweek of Cup actions, league football takes the centre stage in four of Europe’s top five division this weekend. La Liga resumes after Copa Del Rey and Super Cup games were played last weekend, while the Bundesliga returns following three weeks of winter break.

Action in the Premier League and Serie A  also continue this weekend as the season enters into its second half. With a lot of games to be played this weekend, Soccernet in its usual tradition picks out games that fans should consider putting money on.

Barcelona vs Granada (La Liga): The champions go into the encounter with a new manager in charge after Ernesto Valverde was sacked on Monday. The Blaugrana announced Quique Setién as Valverde’s replacement, and he will take charge of his first game when they host Granada on Sunday.

El Graná are one of the three teams to have beaten Barcelona in the league this season with Diego Martinez’s side earning a shock 2-0 win last September.

Match Facts:

Granada have a perfect record in 2020 with two wins out of two.

Barcelona have won their last 6 home matches against Granada in all competitions.

Barcelona have kept a clean sheet in their last 5 home matches against Granada in all competitions.

There have been over 2.5 goals scored in 10 of Barcelona’s last 12 games (LaLiga).

Betting Tips: Barcelona will be missing Luis Suarez who has been ruled out for four months, and Frenkie De Jong who is suspended. But with Ter Stegen returning and the quality they possess, the champions should have no problem seeing off a side that sits in 10th place on the table. (Barcelona win and over 2.5)

Leece vs Inter Milan (Serie A): Inter go into the game with the hope to keep up the pace with Champions Juventus.  The Old Lady moved two points clear last weekend after Antonio Conte’s side played a 1-1 draw with Atalanta last weekend. However, the Nerrazuri will hope to stay in the race when they travel to Lecce who sit in 17th place on the table.

Match Facts:
Inter have won 8 of their last 9 away matches in the Serie A.

Lecce have lost their last four matches in the Serie A.

There have been over 2.5 goals scored in 6 of Inter’s last 7 away games

Betting Tips: Inter know there’s no room for error, and anything other than a win means they will lose more ground in the title race. And with Lukaku in impressive form, everything points to an Inter win. ( Inter win)

Juventus vs Parma ( Serie A): Juventus moved two points clear at the top last weekend and will hope to consolidate on that when they welcome Parma on Sunday. The Champions have been in fine form this year, winning all their three games so far.

Match Facts:

Juventus are undefeated in their last 30 home matches.

There have been over 2.5 goals scored in Juventus‘s last 7 games.

Juventus have scored at least 2 goals in 8 of their last 9 home matches.

Betting Tips: Parma are just a point behind the European places, and have stunned some of the big boys this season. But with Juventus in this kind of form, it’ll be a tall order for Roberto D’Aversa’s side to take anything from this game. (Juventus Win)

Real Madrid vs Sevilla: Fresh off winning the Super Cup in Saudi Arabia, Madrid turn their attention to La Liga when they welcome Sevilla to the Santiago Bernabeu.

Los Blancos defeated city rivals Atletico Madrid last weekend to claim the Spanish Super Cup and will approach the clash against Los Nervionenses full of confidence.

Zidane’s men are currently level on points with leaders Barcelona but could move three points clear of their rivals who don’t play until Sunday.

Match Facts:

Real Madrid have won 13 of their last 14 home matches against Sevilla in all competitions

Real Madrid have scored at least 2 goals in their last 12 home matches against Sevilla in all competitions.

Real Madrid have kept a clean sheet in 5 of their last 7 home matches (LaLiga).

There have been under 2.5 goals scored in 5 of Sevilla‘s last 6 games (LaLiga).

Betting Tips: Sevilla are just five points behind their hosts, and have won three of their last four matches. This will be a difficult one for Madrid, but it should be full of goals. (Over 2.5)

Man City vs Crystal Palace (Premier League): City welcome the Eagles to the Etihad following  6-1 win at Villa Park last time out. The Citizens are a massive 14 points behind Liverpool, but they intend to keep trying until it’s mathematically impossible to catch the champions elect.

They host Crystal Palace this weekend and could reduce the point gap to eleven before Liverpool host rivals Manchester United a day later.

Match Facts:

Man City have won 27 of their last 31 home matches

Man City have won 16 of their last 19 matches against Crystal Palace in all competitions.

Man City have been winning at both half time and full time in 8 of their last 10 matches against Crystal Palace in all competitions.

There have been over 2.5 goals scored in 12 of Man City‘s last 13 games

Betting Tips: Crystal Palace shocked City at the Etihad last season, but with City’s current form, it’s impossible to see a repeat. ( Man City win and Over 2.5)
