Manchester City demolished West Ham in their opening game of the Premier League season.

Raheem Sterling grabbed a second half-hat-trick as Pep Guardiola’s men got off to the perfect start.

Gabriel Jesus opened the scoring for the Citizens while Sergio Aguero also added a goal from the penalty spot.

The result was a hugely disappointing one for former City boss Manuel Pellegrini.
