According to reports, Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen is close to joining French Ligue 1 side Lille from Belgian side Charleroi for a reported fee of 14m Euros.
Osimhen who played for Nigeria at the just concluded AFCON is expected to replace Rafael Leao who is set to leave the Great Danes this summer.
The 20-year-old joined Charleroi from Wolfsburg on loan last season, but Les Zèbres have taken up the option of making move permanent after his impressive performances.
The former Flying Eagles star has scored 20 goals in 36 appearances for the Belgian side and that has caught the attention of Lille.
According to Brilla Sports, the Les Dogues have offered 12m Euros plus 2m in add ons for the lanky forward and are waiting on Charleroi to accept the offer.
If a deal is agreed between the two parties, Osimhen will get to play in the champions league next season after Lille finished second in the Ligue 1 last season.
