Wolves trash Arsenal 3-1, dent Gunners top four ambition

Wolves made Arsenal suffer for their profligacy in front of goal as the team trashed the Gunners 3-1 in Wednesday’s Premier League clash at the Molineux Stadium.

Goals from Ruben Neves, Matt Doherty and Diogo Jota was enough to give the host a first-half lead to the delight of Wolves manager, Nuno Espírito Santo.

However, Sokratis scored in the 80th minutes to hand Arsenal a consolatory goal but any attempt for a possible fightback failed to materialise as the Gunners lost their second game in four days to put their top four hope in jeopardy.
