Super Eagles media officer, Toyin Ibitoye say the players are ready to give their best against Libya in a 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier in Sfax.
Having recorded a sweet victory, where the team walloped Libya 4-0 at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium on Saturday, Nigeria sits second on the table with six points, one point behind South Africa that are top of the group with seven points.
However, Ibitoye stated that the team is determined and committed to the task of winning the reverse fixture in Sfax, Tunisia.
“We are determined, we are focused, we are committed, we want to concentrate fully on the task of winning the reverse fixture in Sfax, Tunisia.
“That’s why we have put our champagne on ice because we don’t want the celebrations of Saturday’s victory to distract us.
“The players are ready to give their best, the coach is already making plans for winning tactics, and I am sure we are on course to win again.
“All we can now ask for us more prayers and support from Nigeria. Without the fans, we will not be able to achieve anything.
“They should continue praying for us and I believe, by God’s grace, we shall win.”
