Ahead of Chelsea/West Ham clash next week Monday in the Premier League, West Ham coach, Slaven Bilic insisted that Super Eagles winger, Victor Moses’ recent success was down to his commitment and determination.
The Nigerian international recently extended his contract when he signed a tow-year deal with Chelsea after a sterling performance with the Blues in the Premier League. Moses has scored fours goals in 25 appearances for the London side this ongoing season and has integrated himself into manager Antonio Conte’s 3-4-3 formation with ease.
However, Bilic revealed that former West Ham player, Dimitri Payet, who is now playing for Mairseille in Ligue 1, rated Moses as the best player at Upton Park during his loan spell with the club.
“Of course Victor always had it in him.
“I spoke to Payet, and he said that Victor, even including himself, was the best player that we had at West Ham then.
“So it was about time that he showed what he had in himself and exploded in a positive way – and he has done it. He looks very concentrated and very serious. He has become a tough player. I’m not surprised, I am glad for him.
“His potential was always amazing. But sometimes you had to push him to do it day in day out. Now he is doing it.
