Iwobi, Iheanacho, Balogun Laud Super Eagles Winning Mentality

Super Eagles trio of Alex Iwobi, Kelechi Iheanacho and Leon Balogun have expressed their joy in the team’s 3-1 thrashing of Fennecs of Algeria in a 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium on Saturday.

Iwobi’s impressive rainbow flick was some of the major highlights of the encounter as the Super Eagles continued their quest to qualifying for the World Cup.

He posted on his Twitter handle that the three points was all that matter against Algeria.

“Great Team Performance , Victory & 3Points With My Bro @67Kelechi #UPSuperEagles.- @alexiwobi.

Also, Balogun who made a return to the team after missing the game against Zambia in Ndola put up a solid performance and posted in his twitter handle his delight with the team’s winning mentality.

“Been a tough match but we showed great mentality! Overwhelmed by the love Nigerians show me! Exactly what I needed, thanks#Nigeria. –
@LeonBalogun.

In the same vein, Iheanacho posted on his Instagram that he’s happy to be part of the winning team against Algeria.

“Great victory today with my bro alexander iwobi happy to be part of this great team up to the next game #Nigeria. – @67Kelechi.
