23 players in Barcelona squad to face Sampdoria

All Barcelona signings in Squad for Joan Gamper Trophy vs Sampdoria
FC Barcelona play their first game of the 2016/2017 season tonight when they take on Sampdoria in the 2016 edition of the Joan Gamper Trophy game and the club have officially announced the squad that will face the Italian team at the Camp Nou.
The squad features all available first team players as expected. This means that the entire 22 first team players present in the team right now will all feature in the game tonight.
All four new signings of FC Barcelona are part of the squad and the club will have the opportunity to present them, Samuel Umtiti, Denis Suarez, Lucas Digne and Andre Gomes along with newly promoted midfielder Sergi Samper and the other first team players to the fans who will turn up in a very high number at the Camp Nou tonight.
Apart from the 22 first team players, Luis Enrique decided to include just one player from Barcelona B and the lower ranks. Winger/Wing back Juan Camara completes the squad list for the game. The 22-year old has been part of FC Barcelona’s preseason from the first game against Celtic to the last against Liverpool and have been deployed as a left back, a position he likely will continue playing in in the game against Sampdoria.
The Joan Gamper Trophy is a game in which FC Barcelona present all of their entire available first team squad for the new season to the crowd. The 2016 Gamper game will also see FC Barcelona players launch their official squad shirt numbers for the season which was officially released by the club on Monday.
The 2016 Gamper game will also be the first in which FC Barcelona launch the “Qatar Airways” logo on their shirt. The club played their entire preseason game without the sponsor on the shirt, and it will be back on tonight. Barça extended their partnership with Qatar Airways for one more season.
Rafinha and Neymar are the only first team players unavailable as they represent Brazil in the Men’s football category of the ongoing 2016 Rio Olympic games.
