Barcelona and Real Madrid go into last day La Liga cracker

Atletico Madrid are officially out of the title race in La Liga after they lost to already-relegated Levante 2-1 away from home while both FC Barcelona and Real Madrid came out victorious against Espanyol and Valencia respectively which means the Spanish League is still undecided and will go down until the last minute of the season.Atletico Madrid started the game in second place, joint on points with FC Barcelona at the top and knew they won’t get it easy in a stadium they’re yet to get a victory in the last 5 games. Striker Fernando Torres put Atletico Madrid in the lead early on through a fine finish but the lead wouldn’t last long as Levante’s Victor Casadesus got the equalizer for the hosts 30 minutes later. Substitute Rafinha Alcantara made it 4-0 while Neymar finished off the rout 7 minutes from time to make it 5-0.Atletico Madrid are officially out of the title race which means Barça and Real Madrid will be part of a last matchday drama. Barcelona just need a win to be Champions and they take on Granada away next week. Real Madrid will travel to the Riazor to face Deportivo and will need nothing less than a win and hope Barça drop points.
