Europe Round-up: Iwobi, Ikeme, Iorfa in action

It was another weekend of interesting football action across Europe with various Club sides facing each other in massive encounter.
However, Nigerian players abroad we very much involved in the tip of action in these massive games across Europe. We take a look at these games with Nigerian player in focus as we capture those who featured and made impact for their club side and those that were missing in action under different personal and Club circumstances.
SoccerNet Nigeria evaluates Nigerian players abroad who were in action over the weekend.
IN ENGLAND (FA CUP)
At the Emirates Stadium, Arsenal’s Alex Iwobi lasted 73rd minute of the game and was replaced by Alex Oxlade-Chamberlin while Hull City’s Moses Odubajo came on for Josh Tymon in the 55th minute and Sone Aluko came on in the 78th minute to replace Nick Powell and Hull City’s match day squad as Arsenal were held goalless (0-0) by visiting Hull City.
Reading defender Jordan Obita (21) lasted the distance while West Bromwich striker Victor Anichebe came on for James Mc Clean in the 75minutes of the game as Reading FC defeated West Bromwich Albion 3-1.
Watford’s Odion Ighalo replaced Nordin Amrabat in the 67th minute of the game while Leeds United midfielder Tom Adeyemi was benched for the entire duration of the game as Watford defeated English Championship side Leeds United 1-0.
ENGLAND (CHAMPIONSHIP)
Sammy Ameobi was expectedly not listed in Cardiff City’s match day squad due to suspension while Cardiff City defender Adedeji Oshilaja was on the bench for 90minutes of the game.
Bolton’s defender Derik Osede was on the bench for the entire duration of the game while QPR’s Nedum Onuoha lasted the distance as Bolton Wanderers drew 1-1 with Queens Park Rangers.
Wonder-kid Ademola Lookman came on for Charlton Athletic as he replaced El-Hadji Ba in the 67 minutes of the game as Fulham defeated Charlton Athletic 3-0.
Wolves’ duo of Carl Ikeme and Dominic Iorfa lasted the entire duration of the game as Huddersfield Town defeated Wolverampton Wanderers 1-0.
ITALY (DIVISION)
Nigeria & Vicenza forward Osarimen Ebagua came on in the 74th minute to replace Francesco Signori as Vicenza drew goalless (0-0) with Avellino. Ebagua Osarimen was booked in the 87th minute of the game.
IN GERMANY
Mainz 05 defender Leon Balogun lasted the entire duration of the game as Hoffenheim defeated Mainz 05 3-2.Balogun was booked in the 27th minute of the game.
Elsewhere, Anthony Ujah lasted the distance for Werder Bremen but failed to get on the score sheet as Ingolstadt defeated visiting Werder Bremen 2-0.
IN FRANCE
Elderson Echiejile lasted the entire 90minutes of the game as AS Monaco defeated Troyes 3-1.
IN HOLLAND
Kenneth Otigba was surprisingly missing in action for SC Heerenveen as SC Heerenveen were held to a 1-1 draw by visiting side NEC Nijmegen.
Chinedu Ede lasted 84th minute of the game for FC Twente and was replaced by Tim Hoelscher as his FC Twente side defeated visiting Cambur 3-0.
IN BELGIUM
Michael Olaitan made a cameo appearance for Kortrijk as he replaced Athanassios Papazoglou in the 84th minute of the game as host Kortrijk defeated visiting side St.Truiden 3-0.
Nigerian forward Kim Ojo lasted 56th minute for Oud-Heverlee lost 3-0 to host Mouscron-Peruwelz.
Regular playing Super Eagles midfield player Onyinye Ndidi lasted 90minute or the game for visiting Genk side who drew goalless (0-0) with host FC Lokeren.
IN PORTUGAL
Academica midfield player Obiora Nwankwo still missing in action as host Academica lost 0-2 to Rio Ave.
IN SCOTLAND
Celtic’s Efe Ambrose was not listed in action in their match day squad as Celtic defeated visiting Inverness CT 3-0.
Dundee United’s Edward Ofere lasted 73rd minute of the game and was replaced by Henri Anier while Hearts defender Juwon Oshaniwa lasted 46minute and made way for Igor Rossi with Hearts teammate and Compatriot Abiola Dauda lasting the entire duration of the game as Dundee United defeated visiting Hearts FC 2-1.
Kilmarnock’s Temitope Ayoluwa Obadeyi lasted 62nd minute of the game and was substituted for Kris Boyd as Kilmarnock were goalless by Dundee FC.
SCOTLAND (DIVISION)
Tom Taiwo came on for David Mc Cracken in the 78th minute for Falkirk as Falkirk FC claimed a 0-1 away win at host Greenock Morton.
IN AUSTRIA
Olarenwaju Kayode lasted the entire duration of the game as Austria Wien drew 2-2 with Mattersburg.
IN GREECE
Former Youth International midfield player Abdul Ajagun lasted 84th minute of the game for Levadiakos and was replaced by Marius Topi as Levadiakos defeated AEK Kalloni FC 1-0.Abdul Ajagun was booked in the 83rd minute of the game.
IN TURKEY
Kasimpasa defender Kenneth Omeruo lasted the entire duration of the game as his side Kasimpasa defeated Eskisehirspor 2-1.Omeruo was booked in the 35th minute of the game.
Godfrey Oboabona lasted the distance for Club side Rizespor as they lost 2-1 to host Antalyaspor.
IN CYPRUS
Former Youth International defender Ganiu Ogungbe lasted the entire 90 minutes of the game as his side Ethnikos Achnas drew 0-0 with Enosis Paralimn.
IN ISRAEL
Nosakhare Igiebor was inaction for Maccabi Tel Aviv as goals from Eran Zahavi (penalty) and Tal Ben Haim in the 72nd and 80th minute respectively gave Maccabi Tel Aviv a 2-1 win over Hapoel Haifa.
