Super Falcons’ Asisat Oshoala partners with Google Pixel

Super Falcons player Asisat Oshoala has just landed a deal with a leading smartphone brand, Soccernet.ng reports.

Oshoala, who also plays for NWSL club Bay FC, has been making impressive strides with her US based team in the ongoing season of the National Women’s Soccer League. The Nigerian football star scored the first goal in the team’s NWSL debut.

Meanwhile, the Super Falcons striker has just secured a partnership with popular smartphone brand, Google Pixel. Google Pixel made this announcement via it’s social media platform, welcoming Oshoala and other NWSL stars to “Team Pixel”.

The partnership will have the Bay FC star share moments from the ongoing NWSL season, through the lens of the Google Pixel phone.

The 29-year-old athlete joins a list of celebrities and public figures who have partnered with Google Pixel, including Grammy award-winning singer Victoria Monet.

In other news, Bay FC has dropped in the League standings after losing in two consecutive games. Oshoala scored a goal in the most recent match against San Diego. This was however not enough to secure a win, as Bay FC conceded a second goal in the 78th minute.

Bay FC currently stands at 10th position on the NWSL table.
