Photos: Wilfred Ndidi’s wife celebrates Leceister City’s Championship win

Fortunate Ndidi, wife of Leceister City player Wilfred Ndidi, has taken to social media to celebrate Leceister’s Championship victory, Soccernet.ng reports.

The football star clinched his first EFL Championship title yesterday, after Leceister City defeated Preston. Ndidi played a pivotal role in Leciester’s success throughout the Championship season, scoring four goals and making five assists.

In celebratory mood, Ndidi’s wife, Fortunate, took to Instagram to share some stylish photos that were captured on game day, as she was present at the Stadium to witness the historic win.

Fortunate shared these lovely pictures with a caption which reads “Dear God thank you… #winningmindset #winnerscircle #wearebackbaby”.

Leceister City’s Championship title is its second big win in the past week, as the team has also gained promotion back to the English Premier League, following last season’s relegation.

Meanwhile, Premier League club Newcastle United has expressed interest in signing the Nigerian midfielder. Newcastle United joins a list of clubs, including Tottenham Hotsupur, Aston Villa and Everton, looking to sign Ndidi when the transfer window opens.

Ndidi’s career run at Leceister is gradually coming to end as his contract with the club is set to expire soon. The 27-year-old athlete will become a free-agent this summer.
