Barca to miss Messi, Suarez

Catalan Giants Barcelona could be without two of their prolific strikers on Wednesday for their King’s Cup quarterfinal first-leg away at Athletic Bilbao.

Lionel Messi was substituted at halftime in their 6 – 0 thrashing of of the same team in the La Liga over the weekend.

Although, scan shows the Argentine only had slight knock on his leg, the five-time world footballer of the year may be sidelined from the game to fully recover.

Also, Uruguayan goal poacher Luis Suarez may also be absent as he was reportedly banned for two games for allegedly provoking a fracas in the tunnel following the first leg of Barca’s last 16 tie against Espanyol this January.

Barcelona hope to progress from this stage as they continue their bid for a fourth triumph in eight years
