Super Eagles star Odion Ighalo will enter the history books on Saturday if he finds the net against Chelsea in the Premier League.
Since the inception of the Premier League in 1992, no Watford player has scored in five consecutive matches.
The Nigeria international has registered his name his name on the score sheet four times in a row in the top – flight, a goalscoring run that started when he found the net in the 17th minute on game week 14 against Aston Villa.
The 26 – year – old has netted at least one goal in all the matches he played in December, against Norwich City, Sunderland and Liverpool.
According to Squaka, Ighalo has had 48 shots, 24 take – ons, created 17 chances and is credited with 12 goals ( 2 assists) in 17 EPL appearances.
