FT: Nigeria 3-0 Cameroon (Friendly)

Date: Sunday, October 11

Time: 8:00pm Nigerian time

Venue: Edmond Machtens Stadion, Brussels

The Super Eagles will look forward to consolidate on their 0-2 defeat against the Democratic Republic of Congo when they face the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon in an international friendly at the 11,000-capacity Edmond Machtens Stadion, Brussels, Belgium.

Nigeria and Cameroon are fierce rivals and their history dates back to the 1960’s when the two sides drew their first ever game in an international friendly.

It’s been a ding-dong back and forth affair between the two countries as Cameroon hit Nigeria on the jugular thrice (in 1984,88 and 2000) in the final game of the Africa Cup of Nations to lift the trophy.
