Alex Iwobi will make his official debut on Wednesday night for Arsenal in their Capital One Cup fourth round tie against Sheffield Wednesday at Hillsborough Stadium.
Frenchman Arsene Wenger has included the striker in his starting XI, with the Nigeria international leading the frontline alongside Olivier Giroud.
Iwobi had a taste of first-team football during pre-season during the Emirates Cup and the tour of Singapore and made the bench for the Capital Cup One clash with Tottenham Hotspur in the third round.
The 19 – year – old penned a fresh multiple – year deal with the Gunners before heading off to Belgium to link up with the Super Eagles for the first time in his career.
