CSKA Moscow got their Champions League campaign back on a track with a hard fought 3 – 2 victory over PSV Eindhoven at the Arena Khimki (Khimki) on Wednesday night.
Nigeria international Ahmed Musa continued his rich vein of form in all competitions this season, opening scoring for the Muscovites in the 8th minute.
Two goals from Ivorian Seydou Doumbia gave CSKA Moscow a three – goal advantage at the end of the first half but the Dutch team did not throw in the towel, scoring two goals through Maxime Lestienne in the 60th and 68th minutes.
Ahmed Musa has now notched up 6 goals in 20 Champions League appearances, including the qualifying rounds, since making his debut in the competition.
The 22 – year – old started and completed the match against PSV Eindhoven.
