Analysis published from the Football Observatory in Switzerland shows that Real Madrid are currently the most expensively assembled squad across Europe's top 5 leagues.[post_ad]
Manchester rivals, City and United, are placed in second and third place while Chelsea (5th), Liverpool (7th) and Arsenal (9th) confirm the Premier League's status as the big spenders in Europe.
