Luis Enrique’s men maintained their 100% record in La Liga after seeing off Levante 4-1 at the Camp Nou in their fourth League game

Barcelona 4-1 Levante - Player Ratings

FC Barcelona maintained their position at the summit of La Liga table as they comfortably beat Levante 4-1 in their 4th game of the season at the Camp Nou to maintain their 100 percent record in the league.

Goals from Marc Bartra, Neymar and a brace from Lionel Messi ensured the Blaugranas make it four wins from four and FlyBarca rate the players in the emphatic 4-1 win.

Barcelona 4-1 Levante – Player Ratings

Marc-Andre Ter Stegen – 5.5
His error led to Levante’s goal which was the tenth he’d concede in his last four games. Collected crosses well and didn’t have much to do as usual with Levante not threatening his goal.

Dani Alves – 7.0
Had a really impressive game and he didn’t look as if he is just returning from an injury. Set up Neymar for Barça’s second and could have kept out Levante’s goal but was unlucky. A great game.

Marc Bartra – 8.0
Was given the nod ahead of Jeremy Mathieu and he had a perfect game. Was solid, made great tackles, his passing was awesome and he got the all-important opening goal for Barça in great fashion. Showed class.

Javier Mascherano – 6.0
Was quiet in the game and didn’t contribute to the team as he often does. Was nowhere to be found during the course of Levante’s goal.

Adriano – 5.5
Making his first appearance for a while, Adriano wasn’t impressive. He didn’t offer what Alba offers at left-back and couldn’t help the team when moving forward. Not a bad game, not a good game either.

Sergio Busquets – 6.5
Controlled the midfield well and made series of well-timed tackles. Replaced by Gambau in the second half to give him a bit of rest and his absence was felt immediately.

Ivan Rakitic – 6.0
The Croatian seemed off-pace. Was more defensive than he went forward. Could have gotten a penalty when he was felled in the area but could have also had a shot or pass to Messi for a tap-in.

Lionel Messi – 8.5
Got the assist for Marc Bartra’s goal through a beautiful cross before getting a goal for himself from the spot later on. Blasted a penalty over the bar minutes later before scoring a solo goal in the 90th minute. Played in a deeper role as a number 10 rather than his natural forward position.

Munir El Haddadi – 5.5
Was outshone by Messi and Neymar as he didn’t see much of the ball on the right. Was a bit selfish in some plays that could have fetched Barça a goal.

Sandro Ramirez – 6.0
Started in place of the resting Luis Suarez and didn’t do badly. Just that he couldn’t provide the spark which the Uruguay international often provides.

Neymar – 6.5
Wasn’t as effective as usual and spurned a great chance to give Barça the lead in the first half but later got his name on the score-sheet in the second half after finishing from close range to make it 2-0 for the Catalans.

SUBSTITUTES…

Gerard Gumbau – 6.5
Replaced Busquets in the second half and took over the defensive-midfield role. He didn’t do anything bad though.
