Liverpool FC star Jordon Ibe is set to commit his international future to England – despite Nigeria’s attempts to convince him to switch his allegiance.
Super Eagles head coach Sunday Oliseh held talks with the 19-year-old winger at Melwood on Wednesdayabout his international future.
Bermondsey-born Ibe has represented England at under-18, 19 and 20 level but is eligible to play for the African nation as his dad David is from Nigeria.
However, while flattered by Nigeria’s desire to get him on board, Liverpool ECHO reports that the talented teenager is still hoping to launch an international career with England.
