Awoniyi might be joining Athletico soon

Taiwo Awoniyi could be set to ply his trade in the Spanish La Liga following enquiries from two Spanish clubs, Atletico Madrid and Getafe.
It has been learned that Atleico, who won the league title in 2013/2014, and mid-table Getafe have expressed interest in the services of the forward.
Awoniyi reportedly has a pre-contract arrangement with Swedish side KK Kalmar but that has not dissuaded clubs from expressing interest in him.
A source who scouts for an agency based in Greece confirmed the readiness of the clubs to sign Awoniyi.[post_ad]
“There is interest in Taiwo Awoniyi in Spain but we need to get the permission of those managing his interests,” the source told Complete Sports.
Awoniyi himself said “My interest is to play regular football. Money is good but if I don’t get playing time now, that could be counter productive.

“I am pleased that offers are coming my way but I will not be in a hurry, God will direct me.”

Liverpool and Porto are also credited with an interest in Awoniyi.
