Match Report: Nigeria 2-1 Congo (U23)



The Nigeria U-23 side defeated Congo 2-1 in the first leg of their Africa U-23 Championship qualifier on Sunday, in Port Harcourt.
After a goalless first-half, Junior Ajayi scored two quick goals in the 47th and 51st minute to put the Dream Team 2-0 up.
But the Congolese rallied and were able to grab a vital away goal through Moise Kounkou, to end the tie 2-1.
The return leg comes up in two weeks time in Pointe-Noire.[post_ad]
The winner between Dream Team and Congo, will qualify for the Africa U-23 Championship in Senegal which will serve as the final qualifiers for the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio, Brazil.
