Alex Iwobi happy with his first goal for Arsenal



Alex Iwobi was pleased to score his maiden goal for Arsenal in their 6 – 0 win against Lyon at the Emirates Cup on Saturday.
Aside his 35th minute goal, the ex England youth international was lively throughout his duration on the pitch.
“Happy to get my first goal for @Arsenal & also help the team to win 6-0 against Lyon , confidence is sky high,” Alex Iwobi posted on Twitter.
On 63 minutes, the Hale End product made way for childhood pal Chuba Akpom.[post_ad]
Olivier Giroud, Mesut Ozil, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain , Aaron Ramsey and Santi Cazorla scored a goal apiece for The Gunners, who will face Wolfsburg on Sunday in their next game in the pre – season tournament.
Alex Iwobi has started all but one game in Arsenal’s pre season fixtures while Akpom was named in the starting line-up only once.
