Super Eagles transfer: Premier League eye Frank Onyeka as Augsburg chapter closes – report

English Premier League side, Crystal Palace, are reportedly showing strong interest in Super Eagles midfielder, Frank Onyeka, Soccernet.ng reports.

The Nigerian star has had an impressive campaign in the Bundesliga with FC Augsburg, where he has played 29 games, and has scored two goals for Jess Thorup’s troops.

Per Africa Foot, this has piqued the interest of Oliver Glasner, who are looking to bolster their midfield options ahead of the upcoming summer transfer window.

Having joined the German side on a loan move from Brentford to secure more playing time away from Brentford, it has been expected for him to stay longer for regular playing time and boost his chances for a national team call-up.

However, earlier reports from Soccernet.ng revealed that the Nigeria international is more likely to return to England than stay for another season on loan or a permanent deal at the WWK Arena.
