Nuno Espirito Santo reveals what Nottingham Forest will miss in Ola Aina’s absence

Nottingham Forest coach Nuno Espirito has admitted that Super Eagles defender Ola Aina will be a big miss for them following a calf injury he suffered last week, Soccernet.ng reports.

Aina has been incredible for the Tricky Trees this season as he has contributed two goals and one assist in 32 appearances. The Nigerian defender has been key to Nottingham Forest’s setup this season, helping them climb up to third in the Premier League this season.

Unfortunately for Aina, he suffered a calf injury in Nottingham Forest’s 1-0 win over Manchester United last week, and that has effectively ruled him out of action for a few weeks. In fact, he could miss the rest of the season.

The Tricky Trees are under pressure to maintain their position on the Premier League table as the season reaches home stretch. Their next game is at Brighton on Saturday, and coach Santo has admitted that Aina will be a big miss.

“He’s going to be a big miss, his quality, his talent, the routine he already has with his teammates, we’re gonna miss him,” Santo said at the pre-match press conference.
