However, Fulham have a big game against Brighton at the American Express Stadium this weekend. And ahead of the fixture, Bassey has stated that he and his teammates will leave no room for complacency.

“You know how good Brighton are, there’s no easy game in this league,” Bassey told Fulham TV.

“They are a team with a lot of quality, so we are gonna have to make sure we are locked in for that one. We’ve had our days to celebrate, now it’s back to work and make sure we are focused on the game on Saturday.”

The game is important for Fulham, as a win could take them as high as 6th if other results go their way. As it stands, Fulham are just five points away from Champions League football, and they can make it eventually.

The Cottagers have already claimed the scalp of many big teams in the English top-flight. A winning run in this home stretch would surely do them a lot of good.
