Lazio head coach provides Dele-Bashiru fitness update ahead of crucial Europa League clash

Lazio head coach, Marco Baroni, has revealed Super Eagles midfielder, Fisayo Ayodele-Bashiru, is doubtful to feature in their UEFA Europa League clash today, Soccernet.ng reports.

Le Aquile secured a rare 2-1 away win at the Doosan Arena against Viktoria Plzen last Thursday, despite having two men sent off.

Dele-Bashiru didn’t feature in their first-leg win. His last outing for Baroni’s side came in February against Venezia.

Ahead of Lazio’s home clash tonight, Baroni revealed Dele-Bashiru is still in pain after suffering an ankle injury against Venezia.

“Castellanos is fine and will be in the game. In any case, I will make some assessments together with him. We will reflect on Nino Tavares, while Dele-Bashiru still has some pain in his ankle, and I will have a chat with him too,” the 61-year-old Italian manager said in quotes revealed by Alfredo Pedulla.
