Ndidi solid, Nwaneri impressive as a late Merino flourish sees Arsenal floor Leicester City

Super Eagles midfielder Wilfred Ndidi showed flashes of his best form but it was not enough consolation for Leicester City who suffered a home defeat to Arsenal, Soccernet.ng reports.

Ndidi made his first Premier League start since his return from injury but his Leicester City stumbled to a 2-0 loss against the Gunners at the King Power Stadium.

Substitute Mikel Merino struck twice in the last ten minutes as Arsenal sealed the win that took Mikel Arteta’s men to within four points of leaders Liverpool.
