Report: Manchester United make big step in Victor Osimhen transfer

English Premier League club Manchester United have reached out to Victor Osimhen’s representatives over a possible transfer, Soccernet.ng reports.

Osimhen’s future has been in the balance in the past two years following his impressive performances for Napoli. During the last summer transfer window, the 25-year-old striker was linked with top clubs in Europe like Chelsea, PSG, and Manchester United reportedly interested in him.

However, the transfer failed to work out, and Osimhen had to go to Turkish Super Lig club Galatasaray after he was alienated at Napoli.

The 25-year-old hitman has enjoyed a good start to life at Galatasaray, as he has registered 12 goals and five assists in 15 appearances this season. Due to his impressive start to the campaign, some clubs have maintained their interest in Osimhen.

Now, in a new development according to Transfer News Live, Manchester United have made contact with Osimhen’s representatives over a possible transfer.

The new Manchester United coach Ruben Amorim has been eager to make changes and shape the team to fit into his ideology. Due to this, Manchester could push to complete the deal in the January transfer window.

Napoli could demand up to €75 million for their Super Eagles star in January, and that is a decent fee for Manchester United, especially as they are expected to make some sales between January and next summer.
