WATCH: Paul Pogba vibes to Asake’s ‘Worldwide’ alongside American streamer iShowSpeed

Paul Pogba was banned from football due to doping allegations but has been allowed to return to action from next year.

Juventus and France midfielder, Paul Labile Pogba, was seen vibing to a song by Nigerian afrobeats star, Asake, on a stream with American influencer, Soccernet.ng reports.

The 31-year-old is currently serving a doping ban and is ineligible to play. The former Manchester United man suffered subsequent hamstring injuries that kept him out of action for almost a year after he rejoined Juventus on a free transfer.

In a bid to hasten his recovery, it was alleged that the one-time UEFA Europa League winner used drugs, which led to a four-year doping ban.

Upon further hearing from the Court of Arbitration for Sports, the ban was shortened to eighteen months, and Pogba will be allowed to return to the pitch in March 2025, although he’s allowed to return to training from January.

Recently, Pogba has been enjoying his time off doing media rounds, and joined American streamer, iShowSpeed, to talk about his career as a footballer, as well as his perspective on several aspects of the game.

In a section required for the 2018 World Cup winner to pick an outro song, he opted for Asake’s ‘Worldwide’.

“It’s from Nigeria. It’s a jam, big ups to Nigeria,” the duo echoed during the livestream.

Ahmed Ololade, popularly known as Asake is famously known for his hits like Omo ope, Organise, and Lonely at the top. He’s also known to be an avid football fan, and was once seen rocking a retro Inter Milan Mario Balotelli kit in one of his music videos.
