Super Eagles star nominated for Serie A award

Super Eagles forward Ademola Lookman has been nominated alongside five other players for the Serie A Player of the Month award for November, Soccernet.ng reports.

Lookman has been in superb form for Atalanta in the past year. The Nigerian forward ended last season on a high, and he has continued with that form since the start of this campaign.

This season, the 27-year-old has registered nine goals and five assists in 15 appearances for La Dea across all competitions this season.

In November, he was in top form, producing three goals in three league appearances. Two of his goals were against league leaders Napoli at the start of the month, and that propelled them to a deserved 3-0 win.

Following his impressive performances for Atalanta, the Super Eagles star has been nominated for the Player of the Month. He was nominated alongside Khephren Thuram, Mattias Zaccagni, Moise Kean, Federico Dimarco, and Alessandro Buongiorno.

The winner will be decided by votes from fans, and the results will be announced in the coming days.

Lookman did not make the Serie A Player of the Month nomination last month, but he won it at Atalanta. He will be looking to win the league award this time.
