Report: Ademola Lookman’s fitness status revealed ahead of Atalanta’s banana skin fixture

Super Eagles forward Ademola Lookman will be available for selection for Atalanta when they take on Parma at the Stadio Ennio Tardini on Saturday, Soccernet.ng reports.

Lookman’s fitness has been an issue of concern for fans since the start of the week. The Nigeria international left the Super Eagles camp for Atalanta earlier in the week, after it was reported that he was nursing a minor injury after the game against Benin.

However, Soccernet.ng revealed that the 27-year-old forward returned to light training two days ago. And according to a new report from Sosfanta, Lookman joined his teammates in some of their drills on Thursday.

This means that the Super Eagles star is almost fully fit and should be ready to go when Atalanta play Parma on Saturday. This is a big boost for La Dea, as they look to continue their push to reach the summit of the Serie A.

The game against Parma at the Satdio Ennio Tardini is a potential banana skin for Atalanta. The last time both teams met at that stadium, Atalanta suffered a 4-1 loss.

Parma have been a tough nut for some Serie A’s big boys to crack. They already got a point from Juventus and Fiorentina, and defeated AC Milan 2-1.
