The Super Falcons’ camp is buzzing with energy as all 25 invited players reported on time for the team’s first training session at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Soccernet.ng reports.
Just two days ago, the interim head coach of the Super Falcons, Justin Magudu, invited 25 players for their first international friendly since their 2024 Olympic campaign.
However, reports communicated by the Nigeria Football Federation communications department reveal that all players have resumed camp before their clash against Algeria.
The Manager for Naija Ratels, Madugu, could not hide his excitement at the full turnout, having expressed confidence in the squad’s preparations for their upcoming friendlies.
“I am very happy that all the invited players are here. We will be able to have four days of full training sessions and be in great shape for the first game. We thank the Nigeria Football Federation for arranging these two games for the Super Falcons.” He said.
Although the team had to adjust their plans due to heavy rainfall in Lagos, which made the field unplayable, the players quickly adapted by engaging in gym sessions at their hotel.
The Super Falcons will square off against Algeria on Saturday, 26th October, and again on Tuesday, 29th October, both matches taking place at 4:00 pm at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena.
