Galatasaray and Super Eagles striker, Victor James Osimhen, is pumped ahead of his side’s clash against Beşiktaş tonight, with his gaze fixed on all three points in the Istanbul derby, Soccernet.ng reports.
The 25-year-old striker joined the Cimbom on loan from Napoli last month and has quickly become a fan favourite at the RAMS Park, scoring three goals and providing two assists in four league games.
Tonight, the Super Lïg table-toppers welcome their rivals, Beşiktaş, to the Ali Sami Yen Spor Kompleksi, to put on display one of Europe’s biggest derby fixtures. To add to the mix, both teams are the only team yet to be beaten in the league this season.
Speaking ahead of the game, Napoli loanee, Osimhen, revealed he’ll do all it takes to make sure his team claim the bragging rights at the end of tonight’s clash.
“I don’t care if I score or not. I just want to win. Of course it will be a tough match, but we are ready and we will give it our all. We want to get the three points. We will be refreshed and be ready for this match. Of course, I think we have a chance for this,” the former LOSC Lille man said in quotes revealed by Bursada Bugün.
Galatasaray are currently top of the Turkish Super Lïg with 25 points from nine games while Beşiktaş are fourth with 20 points from eight games. Kick-off time is slated for 6:00 PM WAT.
