Victor Osimhen to PSG: What can the Super Eagles star benefit from Napoli’s exit?

Victor Osimhen’s camp are currently in talks with Paris Saint-Germain over a return to Ligue 1 following an impressive spell at Napoli

Napoli forward Victor Osimhen is on the verge of joining Paris Saint-Germain, with the French giants determined to bring the Nigerian striker to Paris, Soccernet.ng reports.

Osimhen’s potential move to Parc des Princes could mark a significant milestone in his career, given PSG’s stature in the European top five leagues.

Returning to Ligue 1, where he initially made a name for himself at LOSC Lille, would provide Osimhen with an excellent platform to showcase his talents, this time on a grander stage.

PSG’s ambition to dominate European football offers Osimhen more opportunities to compete for the UEFA Champions League, a major draw for any top player.

Replacing Kylian Mbappe, who joined Real Madrid, places Osimhen in a crucial role at one of Europe’s top clubs, though it comes with high expectations from the fans.

The move is expected to come with a financial package of 14 million euros per season (approximately 24 billion Nigerian naira), reflecting both his current market value and the high expectations placed on him.

Increased exposure and the chance to play alongside world-class teammates like Achraf Hakimi, Ousmane Dembele, Marco Asensio, Nuno Mendes, and others could further his development and elevate his status in global football.

Overall, joining PSG would benefit Osimhen’s professional growth, provide competitive challenges, and offer substantial financial rewards, making it a potentially very positive move.
