Watch: “That’s my son!” – Atalanta star Ademola Lookman celebrates Europa League glory with family

Atalanta sensation Ademola Lookman shared a heartwarming moment with his family, following his incredible performance in the Europa League finals last night, Soccernet.ng reports.

Football fans around the world watched with excitement yesterday as Atalanta secured its first ever Europa League trophy, with Ademola Lookman scoring the hat trick that sealed the deal, and also ended Bayer Leverkusen’s unbeaten run.

Lookman’s mother and father were in attendance at the Aviva Stadium to witness their talented son make history. The football star’s parents joined him on the pitch after the match to celebrate, showering him with hugs and kisses. Lookman’s father, in a proud dad moment, joyfully screamed, “that’s my son!”.

The 26-year-old not only helped Atalanta secure the Europa League champions title, but also made history as the first player to ever score a hat trick in a Europa League Final. The Nigerian forward was named “Player of the Match” after his outstanding performance.

Lookman played a pivotal role in Atalanta’s success throughout the Europa League this season. The Super Eagles star is undoubtedly a strong contender for the CAF Player of the Year title, which is currently held by SSC Napoli striker Victor Osimhen.
