Report: Manchester United and Tottenham to battle AC Milan for Super Eagles-eligible star

Tosin Adarabioyo could miss the chance to don the colours of the Super Eagles of Nigeria if he plays for England in the next Euro 2024 tournament

Two English Premier League giants, Manchester United And Tottenham, are poised to compete with AC Milan for the signature of Fulham star Tosin Adarabioyo, Soccernet.ng reports.

Adarabioyo, born in England to Nigerian parents, is the subject of intense transfer speculation as his contract with Fulham is set to expire at the end of the season.

Both Manchester United and Tottenham are facing defensive challenges, with injuries plaguing their backlines, making the pursuit of Adarabioyo a priority for the upcoming season.

AC Milan, impressed by Adarabioyo’s stellar performances under the guidance of manager Marco Silva at Fulham, has also joined the race for his signature.

Having joined Fulham in 2020 from Manchester City, Adarabioyo has established himself as a dependable presence in the team’s defense, following successful loan spells at West Bromwich Albion and Blackburn Rovers.

With Adarabioyo set to become a free agent, reports from Team Talk suggest that Manchester United, the club where he grew up watching games as a young fan, are endeavoring to persuade him to sign a pre-contract agreement with them.

In Fulham’s recent victory over West Ham United, Adarabioyo formed a formidable partnership with Calvin Bassey, playing a crucial role in their 2-0 triumph over the Hammers.
