Video: Ilenikhena, Yusuf, Ejuke, and Udoh propel Antwerp to back-to-back Belgium cup final

Royale Antwerp’s Alhassan Yusuf established himself as a formidable player during Nigeria’s 2023 Africa Cup of Nations campaign

Nigerian players George Ilenikhena, Alhassan Yusuf, Chidera Ejuke, and Victor Udoh inspire Jupiler Pro League reigning champions Royale Antwerp to the Belgium Cup final for the second consecutive time, as reported by Soccernet.ng.

The Great Old defeated KV Oostende with a 4-1 aggregate scoreline after securing a 1-1 draw away and winning 3-0 at the Bosuilstadion on Thursday evening.

Young striker George Ilenikhena, born in Nigeria, opened the scoring for Antwerp in the 16th minute and completed his brace in the 88th minute to seal the victory for the home side.

Nineteen-year-old forward Udoh, who joined the Belgian Jupiler League team from Abuja-based Hypebuzz FC, came on as a substitute for Vincent Janssen and played a crucial role by delivering a beautiful cross to Ilenikhena, who headed home the third goal.
