Victor Osimhen signed a new contract with Napoli last year, and the deal will keep him at the club until the end of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The transfer saga of Paris Saint-Germain winger, Kylian Mbappè Lottin, could play a huge role in Victor Osimhen’s next destination, Soccernet.ng reports.
Mbappè, 25, is currently on a contract with Les Parisiens that runs through June 2024. Although the chances of a renewal look bleak, the LeafletCasino team, whose experts review sites for betting on this event, maintain the former Monaco forward can enter into a pre-contract with any club as long as the requirements are met.
Mbappè has been widely tipped to join Real Madrid after various sagas in the last few years which led the Frenchman to seal a new deal at the Parc des Princes. It is, however, looking increasingly unlikely that he will remain in France for much longer.
According to a report published by Football London, Paris Saint-Germain will go all out to sign Victor Osimhen next summer if Kylian Mbappe departs for Real Madrid. The move would be a blow to Arsenal and Chelsea who are desperate for a central figure in attack.
With a reported £120 million release clause in Osimhen’s contract, PSG have the financial edge over Arsenal and Chelsea and considering the 25-year-old has spent some time in France with LOSC Lille, it might be a favoured move for him.
Napoli president, Aurelien De Laurentiis also mentioned PSG as one of the potential destinations for the CAF Player of The Year, despite the player just recently signing a new deal.
Osimhen is currently on International duty with the Super Eagles of Nigeria as they look to reach the apex of success in African football. He will lead the attack as they take on South Africa in the AFCON 2023 semi-final.
