Lamine Yamal, Jeremy Doku, and Super Eagles star makes list of top four dribblers in Europe

The Super Eagles star did not have a great AFCON, but he has been balling for his club

Super Eagles forward Moses Simon has the fourth-best dribble completion rate in Europe’s top five leagues, Soccernet.ng reports.

Simon has been one of the best players for Nantes in the last three years. The 28-year-old has been the club’s major outlet in the final third, and the vital part of his game is his physicality and prowess in one-on-one situations. A recent stat by Opta has accentuated this.

According to Opta, per Ligue 1, Simon is the fourth-best dribbler in Europe’s top five leagues. He has a 55.1% dribble completion rate, and is just behind Lamine Yamal, who has 59.7%, Jeremy Doku, who has 58.6%, and Leroy Sané, who has 55.5%.

This means Simon has a better dribble completion rate than the likes of Kylian Mbappe, Jamal Musiala and a host of other stars. It also means that Simon is the best dribbler in the Ligue 1.

This season, the Super Eagles star has produced three goals and four assists in 18 Ligue 1 games for Nantes. They currently sit 14th in the French top-flight, three points above the relegation zone.

Coach Gourvennec Jocelyn will be hoping that Simon hits top form as the season progresses.
