Isaac Success: Super Eagles forward to return for Udinese’s clash against Inter Milan despite injury scare

Success has been an integral of Udiense’s setup this season, and coach Giovanni Cioffi will be hoping that the Nigerian star is fit

Super Eagles forward Isaac Success will be fit enough to return to Udinese’s squad ahead of their Serie A cracker against Inter Milan on Saturday, Soccernet. ng reports.

Success has been an important player for Udinese this season, making 13 appearances in Serie A, albeit with just one assist to show.

He was on the lineup last weekend when Udinese welcomed Hellas Verona to the Bluenergy Stadium. However, Success could only play for six minutes, as he was subbed off for Lucas Lorenzo in the 7th minute. The game eventually 3-3.

There were fears that the Nigeria international may be out for a prolonged period due to his poor injury history. But according to Fanta Calcio, the 27-year-old will be fit enough to play when Udinese travel to Inter Milan this weekend.

However, coach Cioffi may be cautious, and Success may have to start from the bench.

Udinese currently sit 16th in the Serie A and are in dire need of points to stay above the relegation zone. Meanwhile, the Nerazzurri will be looking to build on their 3-0 win over Napoli last weekend. As such, it promises to be an interesting tie.
