Chukwuebuka Ezugha: The phenomenal force behind 18 Guinness World Records in freestyle football

Chukwuebuka Ezugha, the visionary mind behind Chukwuebuka Freestyle Entertainment & Chukwuebuka Academy, has left an indelible mark in the world of freestyle football as far as Nigeria and the world is concerned, Soccernet.ng reports.

Since 2019, his relentless dedication and commitment to grassroots sports development have spearheaded the rise of 18 Guinness World Records holders, showcasing exceptional talent and skill in the realm of freestyle football.

Ezugha, hailing from Anambra State, has garnered international acclaim as the creative genius responsible for orchestrating the achievements of these Guinness World Records holders.

With a remarkable portfolio, including a Library & Information Science/Technology degree from Federal Polytechnic Oko, Anambra State, his passion extends beyond personal accomplishments, and focuses on nurturing talents and providing opportunities for underprivileged youth to excel through their inherent abilities.

His initiatives, such as the “Chukwuebuka School Freestyle Football Training Program”, have been pivotal in discovering and mentoring budding talents across Nigeria.

Since its inception on January 11, 2019, this program has traversed numerous schools, imparting the art of freestyle football and sparking passion among young talents.

Ezugha’s impact resonates beyond mere skill development. He emphasizes a balanced approach between academic excellence and sporting prowess, culminating in the annual Chukwuebuka School Competition.

This competition not only rewards outstanding male and female students with cash prizes but also offers year-long academic scholarships, underscoring the importance of holistic growth.

Through his relentless efforts, Ezugha has ushered five talented individuals—Victor Richard Kipo, Chinonso Miracle Eche, Vincent Okezie, Confidence Kipo, and Miracle Ngozi—into the elite circle of Guinness World Records holders.

Their feats, ranging from consecutive football touches to contortion arm passes, have adorned the prestigious Guinness World Records books for three consecutive years (2021, 2022, 2023).

Ezugha’s recent journey to Milan, Italy, invited by Banijay Italia and Guinness World Records, epitomizes his global recognition and his commitment to the craft.

His tireless dedication has not gone unnoticed, receiving invitations and commendations from dignitaries, including the Governor and First Lady of Anambra State, Prof Charles Chukwuma Soludo and Chief Mrs Healthy Living With Nonye Soludo, among others.

Reflecting on his accomplishments, Ezugha expressed his happiness and pride in these remarkable achievements to Soccernet.ng. His extraordinary contributions to freestyle football and empowering young talents exemplify a legacy that transcends records—marking him as a legend to be celebrated.

“Am proud and happy because I have been able to use my talent to inspire my students and as usual positioned Anambra state on the global map once again” he said.

He added: “Am also happy because with this I’ll be encouraging people living with disabilities especially my disabled students at Basden Memorial Special Education Center (a school that cater for the Blind, Deaf and Dump) in Isulo, Orumba South LGA of Anambra State, that freestyle football is a sports for everyone and can be played not just with the feet, but with every other parts of the body because we want a state where disabled youths would be able to earn a living through their talent.”

The Nigerian has recently bagged his fifth for the Most contortion arm passes while balancing a football on the head in 30 seconds and Most football touches with the abdomen in one minute, which places him and his state on the global map.
