Victor Boniface joined Bayer 04 Leverkusen from Belgian side, Union Saint-Gilloise and has won the rookie of the month award for four months running.
Super Eagles striker, Victor Okoh Boniface, turned provider as Bayer 04 Leverkusen drew away to Stuttgart in the Bundesliga, Soccernet.ng reports.
Leverkusen, in thirteen outings were yet to taste a loss in the German league, meanwhile Stuttgart were high on confidence, following a mid-week win over Borussia Dortmund in the DFB Pokal.
The home side started on the front foot as their star striker, Sehrou Guirassy who has scored sixteen goals in twelve games had to be denied twice by the Bayer goalkeeper, Lukas Hradecky.
The opening goal came five minutes to halftime, as former Borussia Dortmund winger, Chris Führich tapped home from close range after Josha Vagnoman squared the ball to the far post.

A misplaced pass from the opposition midfielder saw the ball fall kindly into the path of Boniface who outmuscled Dan-Axel Zagadou before squaring the ball to Florian Wirtz, who tapped the ball home.
The home side resumed continued to pressure Xabi Alonso’s men in pursuit of three points, but Leverkusen held on tight to keep their unbeaten run going.
Alonso’s men are still top of the league after four matchdays, remaining the only yet to be beaten in the league.
